Hachi Review

In this story (based on real events), Richard Gere plays a music teacher who, by taking the train back home, he finds a puppy wandering in the station. Without an ID, promising to take home to his wife (Joan Allen) to find their owners. As the weeks go by, the whole family falls for the dog (who is called Hachi) and decide to stay. Suddenly, the teacher and Hachi become inseparable. Between them a bond of loyalty and complicity unique, surprising everyone who knows them.
The movie is a remake of Hachi-ko, which is a little more true to what really happened. In this version, the plot unfolds in Japan instead of America. The advantage is that such a story, what matters is not the language or the location in which to perform, but what is special about the relationship between two people, who meet and become lifelong companions.
